ballyheigue4 A n early November sunset scene shot at the village end of Ballyheigue beach, Co. Kerry, in front of these old cottages. As I set up the shot this beautiful dog appeared out of nowhere and I think only added to the atmosphere.

20221109094605 IMG 9830 A Ruddy Turnstone Taken on November 9th in Dún Laoghaire. I had to get quite low to the ground, keeping quiet ensuring I didn't disturb him. This was one of two turnstones that were rooting through the seaweed in search of food. I sat waiting for over half an hour and was treated to some beautiful photos.
