orange moon Orange moon : I photographed this beautiful full orange moon about 15 mins or so after sunset earlier this month as it rose behind the Slieve Mish mountains (Caherconree) on the Dingle peninsula from my vantage point on The Maharees, Castlegregory.

DSCF0306 When I took this picture, I did not think about it, but later realized that my nearly 9 years old daughter sits on nearly 900 years old tree. Probably the tree is at it's middle age, and probably will not be problem to be alived for a few more hundreds of years. Compared to the human lifespan it makes the King Oak Immortal. Mortal or Immortal this is the question. Personally myself, I am delighted that I am Mortal. The picture was taken at Charleville Estate in Tullamore, Co.Offaly.
