During this lockdown, I build a miniature picnic table from a few planks of an old pallet I had in the shed. I had the indention of photographing the birds, I did not anticipate two robins to be on either side of the bench, looks like they are socially distancing and chatting. Took this out my back window in Kilchreest, last Sunday morning 24th Jan 2021. Photo taken by Enda O'Loughlin

Tadhg Fenton
Seven years old Tadhg Fenton, climbing his first mountain in Ireland. This is the approach to Knocknaskagh peak (480meters) in the Nagle mountains in North Cork and captures the moment when Tadhg first saw the summit and the Irish flag thereon. I called this picture "Little man on a hopeful mission". The picture is in colour but almost looks monochrome as the landscape is almost a contrast of black and white with the snow and the only colours are the Tricolour and the little man himself.

 To Ponder Awhile
This photo was taken by me in October. It's a photo of the Maigue River in Bruree village where I live. This is a little park across from St.. Munchins Terrace houses where I often walk by and I couldnt resist taking a photo as it was a beautiful day. People often sit here and chill for a bit. In the background is Bruree Castle which is situated in Ballynoe graveyard. It's a very small village so the river is a thing of real beauty as you pass through.
