[Caption: A moment of curious connection] Note: This morning, while my recently retired husband sat in the living room of our 1840's famine relief workhouse on a teleconference with the Italian Prime minister and heads of the European Union discussing Europe's response to the virus, I crawled around our garden in my pyjamas, under the rocking bench and through blades of grass, hunched on two elbows, like an army cadet. I was following a surprisingly swift snail so as to get some video footage for the website which has replaced my disappearing business. It was humbling to be taught by such a tiny creature of the magic of our backyard and how lockdown has taught us to connect with the every day in the manner of children.

Competition - Hope in Lockdown
Hope in Isolation. This photo was taken by my brother Shaun Parker in April 2020 during the lockdown whilst out on a daily walk. Taken on Flavins beach in Fenit, near Tralee. The rainbow spans across Tralee Bay. The rainbow is symbolic of Hope during the long isolation period.
