 Hi,I brought my grandson Shay (2 -1/2) for a visit to the National Heritage Park (27th June)I let him do some rambling on his own.He sat down for a few seconds on the little jetty to wonder at the big river Slaney in front of him. I was so thrilled to get this shot.

 This Goldfinch was pictured eating the Niger seeds we bought especially for her in our back-garden in Youghal, Co Cork on 27th June 2019. A news item on tv recently, informed us that we should feed wild birds more often as their natural feeding grounds are diminishing.

Diving time' 1 second to impact, reaching speeds of 25mph, became a massive challenge to me to capture this photo just above the waterline before impacting its target, an unwary minnow. Wicklow Ireland.
