deranged heron On the Dublin Dodder river Saturday just gone with friends looking for any birds about the place. This heron was fishing for eels off the weir I got sharper shots of him as the sun was shining down on us but this look of a deranged bird is just brilliant, I think its a young heron aswell, enjoying another visit to Dublin's dodder river, Picture : Stephen Wash.
2 squrriel heads Went up to the National Botanic Gardens on sat with some friends and our camera's looking for some birds. We came across the grey squrriel's and we start to snap picture's of them to see what we could capture. I manages to spot one in a tree hole so I placed my self below waiting in some cameo gear and my camera for it to reappear and it did with a little friend as well. I was delighted to capture this photo might be my that I'll ever get and if so I'm chuffed. DSC 2394 Four years ago, after constantly chasing pheasant's to take there picture, I saw this phesant as I was driving up the road outside macroom.
IMG 8450 The photo was taken while my two daughters dressed up in moms old tops. The kids decided to become fashionistas. Ruth on the left reckons Annie is nailing it in her look with her glamour necklace and matching bracelet. Her coolk belt to highlights her fab little legs battered and bruised from riding ponies and climbing trees. Annie is highlighted by the sunlight and Ruth expression really captures the fun being had while having fun with mam and the camera.
