The photo was taken from the top of Dunlo Hill, overlooking The Green. It is I think a very "Autumn looking picture". I am a local, born and reared in Ballinasloe and grew up looking forward each year to the event but as the future of The Fair is in question due to many reasons, especially in the news this year, due to trouble last year, I want to keep this unique event alive. There is nothing like this event and it is a great boost to a Town in need of any help it can get. It would be a shame if this historic event is lost for ever. I am not a photographer, I have a small very old little canon camera, but I do like to take photos of The Fair each year, and this one people seem to like, so I thought I would enter it. Hope I am not late.
