2016-09-08 17.11.22 My 2 yr old daughter Georgia Mai on the beach in Clogherhead Co. Louth during a late summers evening 2016. I wanted to take a picture of her standing in a puddle so when the photograph was turned upside down it still looked like she was standing in the puddle with the sky above her. To get a 2 yr old to do this was almost as hard as getting the shot but we had great fun doing it and a pair of very wet wellies!

image On Sunday morning John said he had a surprise for me and brought me out to see the first born calf. She had been born on Saturday, was still a little wobbly on her feet and was adorable!!! John caught her for me to have a little hold of her. It was an absolutely smashing autumn morning so he said he'd take a quick snap... And low and behold we found I was perfectly photobombed by our little calf's mammy on the right, and granny I'm the left... Gas!!

Jinny Jo on A4 Jinny Jo - Jinny Jo Taken in Newtownmountkennedy recently. Over the years I have to capture this plant as it fascinates me how it changes over a mere few days and becomes the plant so significant in our childhoods, and in this shot I think I finally captured what I was after, that being the structure. 'Jinny Jo, Jinny Jo bring me back an egg' is what we'd say as children... then blowing the seeds and scattering them to the four winds...! :-)
IMG 1168-Edit-Edit-Edit-Edit Slieve League Cliffs, Donegal, Ireland. This was a tricky self portrait to get. I had my Canon 6D on a tripod used the wifi and canon app to compose the shot from the cliff edge. Standing on the cliff edge I was terrified, not only because of the vertigo but also as a herd of sheep lurked nearby and I was afraid they would decide to give me a nudge over the edge! Luckily i managed to get the shot and didn't have to stick around too long to test the patience of the local livestock! Keywords: declan keane

Dungarvan to Ring 05-06-0621 The Dungarvan Crossing We enjoyed the crossing of the Coinegar with a great crowd on June 16th 2016. It meant walking across Dungarvan Bay while the tide was at it's lowest and heading for Helvic. It still meant walking in about a foot of water across the Dungarvan stretch which was awesome.
