Duck This young male duck was getting really brave and getting close to me, literally eating bread out of my hand, but not for too long. Another older female duck, which I suspect was the mother, showed him who's the 'boss', she pecked him out of the way to get access to food. Scamp Running on our Snowy Road I snuck out the house last Saturday morning (09.04.16) without children or dog so as not to get any footprints in the virgin snow. Needless to say when I returned there was a stack of snowballs and two children hidden in the garden waiting for a target to arrive and a dog who had forgotten how much fun snow is! 20 Starry night at Drombeg stone circle
6 'Whispers in the forest' Came across this beautiful mass rock in Oughaval woods just outside Stradbally , Co. Laois . While out for a spring morning walk on the 24th of February 2016. The mass rock is surrounded by tall scotts pine, it was used during penal times between 1691 and 1727 to celebrate mass. I used my gopro to get it all in , and show the tall trees surrounding it . IMG 20160506 090621 Paddling the exam stress into a Galway Sunrise. I have been majorly involved with the NUIG Surf Club and watersports deptartment since starting university in Galway. Myself (Jack Tr? of Clonakilty west cork)and my friends Emily Tully (of Kinvara) and James O'Driscoll of (Clonakulty West Cork), are all students in NUI Galway currently in the middle of exams. We took out the stand up paddle boards this morning just before the sunrise and had a healthly breakfast of spinach and kiwi smoothies and almond coconut and date raw energy balls on top of an old railway pillar in the middle of the river corrib. This is exam destress at it's finest. James on the right of the picture had an exam at 4:30 this day and we had been out on the water and were back in the library all before 9am.
