NEXT STOP SPAIN....The Brittany Ferries vessel 'Connemara' departed Ringaskiddy, Cork on her first trip to Santander, Spain.
The Cork-Santander (Ireland - Spain) ro/ro ferry service will operate a twice-weekly overnight service to Spain, with departures from Cork on Wednesday and Friday. 
Travelling on the first trip from Cork to Spain are participants of the 2018 Bubblegum Charity Run, a 3,000km trip from Cork to Spain and back, over ten days and taking in Madrid, Marbella, Valencia, Andorra and Biarritz. Participants would previously have travelled via the UK but the new Cork-Santander route has made Spain more accessible for the car and bike lovers. Twenty high-performance cars with passengers made the annual trip from Cork.
