Murphys Bar 2 resized The Quiet man ,by Adrian O Sullivan .This shot was taken while having a pint in Murphys Bar in Galway City Centre.It one of the older bars in Galway -a mans bar if you like ,with a bookies near by lol. I had my camera on the seat ready to shoot as always when this middle aged man came in and settled in that corner across from me .The only movement that seem to happen was the hand reaching to take a sip .The light was right the mood was right so i kept shooting ,hence ,"The Quiet Man".

Michael Mc Donnell- moore street visiting dublin last week my favourite place to capture is moore street as there is always good characters and the street is always bursting with colour. Here is a picture of fruit stall just set up on an early morning. This is a very simple photograph but has history behind it and that the traders havent changed the way they set up their stalls.

DSC 1326 Summer Buzz is the name of my photo. Myself Oliver Gargan took this on the 8th August 2014 in a field close to lough ramor in virginia county cavan. I love photography and like to take photos of anything that catches my eye,especially landscapes,macro and family photos. Im 26 years old and learning loads about the ever changing photography world. It's a close up shot of a bee. I had to get up so close without it flying away. I used the maximum focal length I could of 55mm which I use with my basic kit lens 18-55mm lens. I use a nikon d3100 which I purchased in November 2103,but I have always had an interest in photography. I cropped a small bit and slightly straightened the photo,to draw attention to my main subject,the bee. I would love to get a chance to show people my photo,and thanks for giving me the chance to do so.
