Gráinne O’Leary from Donoughmore, pictured at the SHARE 40th Anniversary crib opening, students representing 21 Cork schools launch the annual SHARE fast and fundraising campaign. 1,800 students will collect on city centre streets until Christmas Eve to raise funds for the care of the elderly. 200 homes and an impressive day care centre have been provided by SHARE over the last 40 years. Donations can be made to the day care centre at Sheare’s Street, Cork or at any SHARE cribs at shopping centres in the city and suburbs
