Gael-Taca, in conjunction with Cork City Council, are delighted to announce the relaunch of Gradam Uí Chuanacháin for 2025. The awards have been a mainstay of the business calendar and are named in honour of the late Pádraig Ó Cuanacháin , a stalwart in the promotion of bilingualism in the city and a great help and resource to those wishing to raise the visibility of the language in signage and operations. These awards recognise businesses in Cork City who promote the Irish Language through signage, media, communication and general awareness. The Awards were aunched by the Lord Mayor Cllr Dan Boyle in the Council Chamber on Tuesday 11th March. Applications are now open for entry on our social media platforms. Pic Larry Cummins
