Checked on my 14yo son Brendan on my way to bed and he had his blind open watching the sky light up and the downpours. He was loving it! So, I Told him to get his shoes and jacket on so we could go stormchasing. Didnt have to go far. Drove to the west end carpark where you could see the lightening light up the whole of Donegal Bay. He stepped out when it got far enough away and the rain had stopped and the lightening put a show on for us. It was powerful, magical and will forever remain one of my favourite moments with him.
