Green Watch from Cork City Fire Brigade form a Guard of Honour for the former Cork TD and Minister of State Bernard Allen, (RIP) as his cortege passes Cork City Hall following the funeral mass at the North Cathedral. The former Fine Gael junior minister for education and environment was 79. Educated at the North Monastery and UCC, Mr Allen was elected to Cork Corporation in 1979, retaining that position until 1995.
