Alan Mahy in the kitchen of the family home after they returned to live there in recent days. They spent 135 days out of the house as remedial and renovation works were undertaken following the devasting floods of Storm Babet. The worry continues for the family with the high levels of the Owenacurra River which is located just metres from tthe front gate to the house. A large volume of silt and gravel was deposited at a bend in the river, changing the level of the water in the river outside their home. Pic Larry Cummins
