The latest addition to the fleet of vehicles for Cork City Fire Brigade. The Volvo truck is fitted with a 45metre reach Bronto platform and ladder and cost approx 1.25million euro. Staff training in the use of the high-tech rescue appliance is continuing - there is a considerable amount of video and control software technology onboard the new appliance. which also has steering on the rear wheels, the first of its kind on the local fleet.
