William Walsh, ( The Birdman of Fairhill) was four times World Champion and won 15 C.O.M Medals as a breeder and exhibitor, and is now a show judge, pictured with exhibitors Dave Lyons, from Limerick, with his Best Champion Goldfinch and Jim Barne, from Carnew at the annual show of the Cork Show Bird Society. The Cork Show Bird Society are celebrating their centenary this year. Their annual show competion was held this year at North Monastery Secondary School, Cork, with approximately 100 exhibitors showing over 1200 entries from around Ireland. Pic Larry Cummins
