Ross Hennessy who is the first recipient of the National Ambulance Service Bravery medal after he saved the life of Tom McNamara. The award was presented by Ger O'Dea, Community Engagement Manager of the Ambulance Service at the Fob & Gill bar in Mayfield, Cork where the campaign surrounding CPR for Valentine’s Day using the banner “Give a loved one the gift of life this Valentine’s Day and learn CPR” was also launched.
