 An Afghan family who fled their home in Kabul to come to Ireland are now being hosted by a man in Ballinora/Waterfall Co Cork. (The parents are Nooria and Mohammed Arif Faizi) Brothers 8yo Emran, 10yo Arafat and 14yo Abas Faizi. Mohammed Abas is a keen cricket player and hopes to play again very soon. Their first day at school in Cork was on Friday 3rd December. Children from local families welcome the boys and parenst to Ballinora. Included are Josh Roxburgh, Louis McCoy, Harry McCoy, and sisters Zoe and Mia Roxburgh with a welcome banner/poster. Reporter Ann Murphy story. Pic: Larry Cummins
