A moody shot I took off The Faroe Islands. This sea stack is called Stóri Drangur with Tindhólmur in the backround. Old folklore tells the story of a young baby girl being taken by an eagle and dropped into the nest at the top of Tindhólmur th where the eagles hugngry chicks awaited. The mother of the child had to climb to the very tip of the highest peak to where she found her daughter petrified and badly injured but alive. She climbed back down the mountain with her daughter where they lived out the rest of their lives.
