LC-musicians-protest-10
Musicians from Cork City and County and their supporters will gather for an eye-catching "Silent protest" on Grand Parade on Wednesday the 23rd of June. The decision to protest silently is a powerful act of symbolism referring to the fact that professional musicians have been locked out of work for 15 months and have no road-map to recovery, unlike other industries. Musicians will gather for their protest at 12 noon on Wednesday the 23rd of June at Grand Parade, Cork City. They will maintain social distancing guidelines throughout their event. All are welcome. For any additional queries, the spokesperson to contact is Gary Baus (pictured). Pic: Larry Cummins
