A study by staff photographer Denis Minihane of patterns resembling tulips on the sand at Fountainstown beach, Co. Cork, which was shortlisted and placed among those of the participants admitted to the last stage of the Siena Creative Photo Awards judging process in a competition which had thousands of entries from many countries in the 17 categories.
