 'Nature's Carpet'
A photograph taken by myself, Jim Owers on Sat 15th May 2021 in the Killarney National Park in County Kerry. Captured during a hike as I traversed out of the way and off the beaten track areas of this truly magnificent and treasured area. Magnificent old and mature ancient trees heavy with new leaf growth as the sun began casting shadows through the forest canopy. There are decaying tree limbs scattered about and a prolific growth of Wild Garlic completes 'Natures Carpet.' The air is thick with the aroma of Wild Garlic, the scene is silent apart from bird life and the absence of human interference is everywhere.
