Daily Vistor during Lockdown.
Every day during lockdown this friendly pheasant appeared in my mothers garden. She called him 'Jem '. He would arrive at different times during the day so she always looking out for him and of course fed him a few bits. Jem made my Mothers day and kept her spirits up. She was so afraid that he would be shot during the shooting season but thankfully he survived and is still showing up to this day.
He now knows my Mothers voice and when she sees him out the window she opens the door and calls him. He runs right up to her back door as seen in photo. So a beautiful friendship has blossomed between them both.
