It was only the other day, last Saturday (15/08/2020), that my daughter and I participated in a 10km kayak paddle in this river. Since, my feelings and perspective of this immense body of water changed from mainly fearful and distant to positive and accepting. And I feel grateful and proud that even for only few hours I shared a "house" with so many beautiful and serene creatures of water.
