'Tormented Skies'
A landscape vista that I captured as sunset began to happen on Lough Leane on Saturday 25 July 2020. The photograph shows a tranquil and shallow lough, its waters shimmering in the dying rays of a setting sun, whilst a decaying drifting wood log is illuminated as is the National Park vegetation in the background. The darkened mountains are capped with low-lying mist and a troubled-sky displays a patch-work ornamentation of storm rain clouds dotted with the occasional glimpse of blue shining-through.
