 Black Lives Matter protest in Cork City on Saturday, July 4th. 2020. This was the third Black Lives Matter event organised in Cork City. Hundreds took part in the march which began at Parnell Place, travelled along St Patrick's Street (where they showed support and solidarity to the Debenham's workers) and ended with speeches on the Grand Parade. Among the speakers were Cllr Fiona Ryan, Solidarity Party People before Profit, soul singer Karen Underwood, Joe Moore, Anti-Deportation Ireland, Adam Peerbux, Kestine Ugbodu, John Ogunjemilusi, poet Jasmine Odabi and march/protest organiser Farida Salim.
