 #Larry Cummins :XX : JESS CASEY : Transition Year pupils, twin sisters Megan and Lauren Murphy got back into their school uniforms and returned to their school at Glanmire Community College, Co Cork for the handover of the Blankets Of Hope.
Marie McInerney, teacher at Glanmire Community College, who together with her students has been hand knitting blankets for cancer patients. Before the lockdown, the group was also knitting regularly with their local active retirement group. 
Marie is hoping to arrange a socially distanced pick up of around 25 blankets at the school to Cork Cancer Care.
