NOTE- Organised by Mother Jones, the March of the Mill Children began on 7th July 1903 from Philadelphia to New York City and lasted over three weeks. It sought to abolish and highlight the exploitation of young children in the mills, mines and factories across America.
The Spirit of Mother Jones, Annual Festival at Shandon, Cork. Cork Community Artlink and Foroige Group Blarney Street staged a 'MARCH OF THE MILL CHILDREN' pagent on Wedesday.
