Handover of the proceeds from the musical performance of Handel's Messiah, staged at Ascension Church, Gurranabraher, Cork on Sunday 2nd December.
The work of replacing the roof was completed in mid-December 2018, at a cost of over EURO 500,000.
Fr Walsh paid special tribute to East Cork Choral Society for coming to the aid of the church.
