Larry Cummins for EE Kidz Zone : The Lord Mayor Cllr Mick Finn crossed the city/county boundary to visit Ovens National School on Thursday 24th January 2019 to recognise the contribution of pupils at the school to the success of the recent Liam Miller Tribute match, held at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
Pupils gathered in the school hall for the visit of The Lord Mayor. The 3million euro insurance pricetag placed on the historical Lord Mayors chain prompted the question from one pupil, 'Do you wear it to bed at night?"
