To celebrate the end of another highly successful year of Cork’s very own Music Mash Up project, a night of music, fun and frolics is planned in Cork’s beautiful venue Live at St. Luke’s. Featuring over 15 different organisations and schools and some 300 hundred performers, a full night’s programme of entertainment will kick off at 7pm on Wednesday 16th May. This ‘MayHUM Mash Up’ concert takes place as part of this year’s Music Generation Cork City MayHUM Festival 2018. Music Mash Up provides access for young people of all abilities to make music in a fun, relaxed and inclusive way. is run by experienced professionals who provide weekly group workshops in the areas of Vocals, Performance, Technology and Song Writing and instrument performance. The programme is an innovative community collaboration between Music Therapy, Music Education, Community Music and Youth Work and has gone from strength to strength over the last 6 years, now reaching over 280 children & young people, and with a national model in the works. Music Mash Up is run in partnership with Cope Foundation, Music Generation Cork City, Foroige St. Joseph's, Lotamore and Mayfield, Voices of Cork and Community Volunteers.
