 EE news 31/03/2018. Midleton Educate Together National School; One of a kind fundraiser at the school on Saturday March 31st 2018. Powerlifting competition, hosted by the Irish Drug Free Powerlifting Association (IDFPA), in aid of Bláthú, the autism unit in the school. Athletes competed on the day in a squat and bench competition, with no cover charge for spectators. The money raised will go towards buying much needed occupational therapy and sensory equipment for the school. Not only is the event to raise money for Bláthú but it also kicks off Autism Awareness Month in the school and the locality.
