Kilmurry Historical & Archaeological Association presents the exhibition 'From Coppeen to Classis - The Story of the Stone, Sand & Gravel Industry in the Bride Valley' at Independence Museum, Kilmurry, Co. Cork.
Frances Lynch, whose dad Terry was a founder of Castlemore Quarries, points to a photo of herself, taken on the day the brickworks at Castlemore Quarries were opened by Charles J. Haughey, TD. Guest speaker Richard Wood of John A. Wood, performed the official opening of the exhibition.
