Fintan Beecher, Blarney Street cools off with a swim in the River Lee at The Lee Fields, Cork during a hot spell- He has been swimming in the Lee for over 50 years, having first learnt to swim at five years of age at a nearby section of river known locally as 'The Strand'. He swims daily, from April to September.
