Sean Mac Gearailt, Principal at Gaelscoil de hÍde, Co Cork with two of the youngest pupils of the school; Benjamin Dunlea and Fiadh Higgins had the job of closing the door of the old school building on MacCurtain Street, Fermoy before walking along with parents, schoolchildren and supporters to the new 24-classroom school complex on the Duntahane road in Fermoy.
