Dough Castle at Lahinch Golf Club
The Wise Man. Dough Castle stands on the Castle Course of Lahinch Golf Club on the Wild Atlantic Way. It's not in a state of collapse because of war or invasion, but because the O'Connors, Lords of Corcomroe, built it at a strategically important location but unfortunately upon sandbanks! Duh! Still it made for an interesting shot on what has been a mostly cloud covered few weeks when I got almost no opportunities for some night shots. Photographed in the very early hours of the morning on 4th July 2016.
