The Fairytale.
I took this shot on a beautiful starry night in Doolin, Co Clare on 4th June 2016. It was 2.30 in the morning and the sun was just beginning to turn the sky from midnight blue to pretty pink on the horizon. The image is Doonagore Castle taken from the entry gates and I felt it had a dreamy fairytale quality about it. The dawn chorus was roused and I felt I had captured a beautiful moment in Ireland.
