Irish international marathon runner Lizzie Lee of Leevale A.C. a past pupil, at Scoil an Spioraid Naoimh Cailíní, Bishopstown, Cork, with Rachel O'Shea (left) and Ellen Doherty who presented a t-shirt to Lizzie at an event where Lizzie joined in with 3rd-6th class pupils to run the final leg of a staged marathon over 10 days by as part of Active Schools Week towards the presentation of the Active Schools flag.
