Some of the junior pupils who completed their own fun run in conjunctuion with the event where Irish international marathon runner Lizzie Lee of Leevale A.C., a past pupil, ran the final leg of a staged marathon over 10 days by 3rd-6th class pupils at Scoil an Spioraid Naoimh Cailíní, Bishopstown, Cork, as part of Active Schools Week towards the presentation of the Active Schools flag.
