I witnessed incredible bravery this evening (07 Feb 2016) watching the crew of the Youghal pilot boat battleing terrible conditions in Youghal Bay to safetly bring in the cargo vessel Marc. The Marc had sailed from the port of Drogheda. Unlike pilot boats in larger ports, the Youghal pilot boat is a small boat and takes great skill to go out in all types of weather to safely bring cargo vessels into Youghal harbour.
