Tim O'Leary, Whiddy Island Development Association, speaking on Whiddy Island, Co. Cork, during the Walford August Anderson Commemoration Day when a memorial was unveiled. Walfod August Anderson, U.S. Naval Air Service, lost his life when the plane crashed when returning to its Whiddy Island base. Another member of the Service, Neil Kemp, survived the crash.
