Justin Breen, American Legion, salutes after placing a wreath in the water at the site of the plane crash on the Walford August Anderson Commemoration Day at Whiddy Island, Co. Cork. Walfod August Anderson, U.S. Naval Air Service, lost his life when the plane crashed when returning to its Whiddy Island base. Another member of the Service, Neil Kemp, survived the crash.
