Eddie O’Brien, Cobh People Power with his granddaughter Carrie Doyle on the R624 Fota Road at the Slatty Bridge.
In the past month they have collected a petition of over 1,500 signatures calling for a new Fota Road. They are looking for the road to be upgraded by removing dangerous bends, upgrading the damaged bridge and widening junctions eg at the entrance to Fota Wildlife Park.
