Rugby Superstar Fergus McFadden gets SuperTough with Specsavers, Dublin 21/5/2014
Fresh from LeinsterÕs RaboDirect PRO12 semi-final win, Ireland and Leinster rugby super star Fergus McFadden was joined by some super tough mini-fans to the launch of Specsavers nationwide search for IrelandÕs most Unbreakable Friendship.
All childrenÕs lenses at Specsavers are made from Trivex, the same special material used in the canopies of fighter jets and combat helicopters, these tougher-than-tough lenses are sure to withstand the most boisterous of childhood rough and tumble. TheyÕd even withstand a fiercely tough soap box derby race!

To celebrate the launch, Specsavers will be embarking on a nationwide search this summer, to find IrelandÕs most Unbreakable Friendships. Entry forms are available in SpecsaversÕ 47 stores nationwide, giving children the chance to win a fantastic adventure day out for them and their friends.
Specsavers has identified Trivex as the ideal lens material to make childrenÕs lenses as safe as possible. Named SuperTough, the lenses prevent the breakages that happen as part of childrenÕs active lifestyles. Specsavers are so confident that they guarantee the lenses will not break, crack or chip.
